Yuki brings a foundation in writing and handcraft to a practice of Architecture committed to conceptual clarity and spatial dynamism. Prior to joining Holst Architecture in Portland, she worked at OPA where she was a project manager for several award-winning custom residences. She thrives in the complexity of the architectural process and enjoys working closely with consultant, contractor, and client to sustain design rigor through concept, detailing and construction. 

Yuki received her Master of Architecture from UC Berkeley, where she developed her passion for teaching architecture. Prior to this, she studied Japanese woodworking in Seattle. She maintains a strong interest in art and writing and was an architecture resident at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Her writing has appeared in various publications such as Volume Magazine, Form, and Dialogue, and she was a founding co-editor of the online design blog, tracesf.
