Meet Professor Tina Anctil

Tina Anctil, PhD, CRC, LPC, associate professor, is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Education. Prior to this appointment, she was chair of the Counselor Education Department from 2015-2017 and program coordinator for the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling program from 2010-2016. She obtained her PhD in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a co-principal Investigator on a long-term training grant from the Rehabilitation Services Administration. 

Prior to her academic work, she was a rehabilitation counselor and she currently maintains a private practice where she provides career counseling and mental health counseling to people with disabilities, as well as supervision to LPC Interns in Oregon. She provides training and professional development to counselors in the area of career development services.

Tina's research and scholarship focus is on career development for individuals with disabilities or chronic illness. Dr. Anctil is on the editorial board of the Career Development Quarterly and is the Counselor Education Commissioner on the National Career Development Association Credentialing Commission.
