Chris is currently a designer at SRG Partnership, working on projects ranging from medical facilities to educational institutions. Prior to architecture, Chris worked in both the construction and engineering fields. Chris chose PSU for Architecture for its location in the urban core, focus on community engagement and esteemed faculty.

Chris has a passion for communicating architectural ideas through digital graphics and won the Utrecth Graphic Scholarship and the Oregon City Gateway Competition. Chris was awarded the Portland State School of Architecture Thesis Prize along presenting at the CSI NW Region Conference. He was also awarded the AIA Pacific Northwest Region Honor Award for his thesis “Reclaim the In-Between.” His thesis focused on reclaiming the forgotten sites under the I-5 freeway through a public design-build process. He is currently working with the City of Portland and the Portland Development Commission on future implementation of aspects of his thesis.
