Chris Augeri is the Director of Portland State University’s Campus Events and Student Union (CESU). A versatile business professional with a long career in higher education, Chris supervises the operation of Smith Memorial Student Union, Viking Pavilion at the Peter W. Stott Center and campus retail operations including the University Market and PSU Box Office. He believes in using his successful record of innovation in events management and retail operations to support PSU’s mission of providing a top-tier educational environment. Chris came from the East Coast in 2016 after directing Conference & Event Services for Stonehill College in Easton, Mass., and serving as the Director of Merchandise for the then-New York Yankees’ Norwich Navigators Double-A franchise (now the Richmond Flying Squirrels). Chris, a recent father and co-operator of Douglas Farm on Sauvie Island with his wife, Megan, earned a Master of Science in Communications Management from Simmons College and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration/Physical Education from Temple University.
