PSU STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE 

The PSU Student Leadership Conference is a conference put together by leadership educators across Portland State. Every year the theme focuses on a different aspect of the social change model, and gives student leaders a chance to present to their peers, in conjunction with PSU faculty and staff. The conference consists of breakout sessions, keynote speakers, and various networking and socializing opportunities.

SPRING LEADERSHIP TRANSITION CONFERENCE 

As a Portland State student organization leader you strive to leave the group in a better place than you found it while exploring all of the places you can take your leadership experience. Times of transition can be difficult yet rewarding, and the transition of new officers provides a chance for your organization to grow through new leadership and ideas, yet remain rooted in key goals, intentions, and ideals. This training will give you the tools to create a transition strategy that will guide your club to a sustainable future, and help ensure that your roots are firmly planted but your limbs are primed for growth. You will also learn how to translate skills learned as a student leader to those used in a career.


NORTHWEST STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (NWSLC)

The Northwest Student Leadership Conference (NWSLC) is the largest student-led conference in the Pacific Northwest. NWSLC provides hundreds of student leaders with a unique combination of opportunities to enhance their personal leadership development and gain the skills, context, and expertise necessary to organize and advocate on behalf of the students and communities they represent.

THE OREGON STUDENTS OF COLOR CONFERENCE

The Oregon Students of Color conference is the Northwest’s best student-led educational and networking opportunity for students of color. The conference provides a safe, inclusive, welcoming space for historically marginalized students of color to express their voices and experiences. The conference will provide great networking opportunities with hundreds of students of color and allies from the Pacific Northwest, as well as nearly 100 workshops and caucus spaces presented by students, faculty members, non-profit directors, and other community leaders. Additionally, the conference boasts three amazing keynote speakers and a spoken word performance.

THE OREGON STUDENT EQUAL RIGHTS ALLIANCE SYMPOSIUM 

The Oregon Student Equal Rights Alliance (OSERA) Symposium provides spaces for LGBTQ student leaders to engage, politicize, and organize around issues that affect them.  The day will be focused on the state of post-secondary education in Oregon and its impact on queer and trans students. The symposium will offer nearly 20 workshops, an inspiring keynote speaker, networking opportunities, and more.  The event is being organized and directed by a group of dedicated student leaders who comprise the OSERA Symposium steering committee.
