Richard Slottee

Richard Slottee graduated from the University of Oregon Law School in 1972 and joined Multnomah County Legal Aid Services as a staff attorney. In 1978 he went to work at Lewis and Clark Law School as a professor and Director of the Lewis and Clark Legal Clinic. The Legal Clinic taught practical lawyering skills to law students through the pro bono representation of low income clients. While he has represented clients with a wide array of legal issues, his focus at the Legal Clinic was on consumer issues and Chapter 7 bankruptcy. When the Legal Clinic closed at the end of 2014, Dick joined Portland State University Student Legal Services. He has two daughters, and has lived in the Portland area his entire life.
