PREMIATIONS: PSU School of Architecture AIA NW & Pacific Region Annual Student Design Awards 2012-16

Since their inception in 2012, the AIA Northwest & Pacific Region Annual Student Design Awards have recognized our students work every single year. Four out of those five years have seen PSU Architecture students receiving the highest possible accolade, the Honor Award. In order to celebrate this achievement and highlight the students' work that has earned this recognition year after year, the School has created PREMIATIONS, a publication featuring the 11 award-winning projects, all of which have emerged from the School's undergraduate and graduate programs.

"These [projects] have included individual and collaborative endeavors that engage issues that are pressing in this second decade of the twenty-first century, and challenging to the conventions and expectations of citizens of the contemporary city. [...] The work reveals our diverse attitude toward media through drawings, models, and artifacts that precipitate emerging and substantiating ideas -- evidence of the embodiment of a unique perceptiveness in each student upon the common flesh of a shared world," writes the School's Director, Clive Knights, in the introduction.
