Why did you want to be a Peer Advisor?
It's an opportunity to not only get more involved with the school of business, but to help my fellow peers become successful. I enjoy the fact this position allows you to develop critical skills in a satisfying manner.

What's your favorite thing about studying and working in the School of Business so far?
The relationships that I've build with my peers in the HR association and class are hands down my favorite part. It's an exciting feeling to notice how rapidly your network can grow.

Why should students seek express advising? What should they expect? How should they prepare?
Navigating college is a difficult task that nobody should do alone. Students should seek advising to get a better grasp of their class requirements and to understand what opportunities are offered on campus. When it comes to express advising, expect to work with a friendly student who is, or has gone through the same things as you when it comes to the school of business. We are here to sharpen iron with iron. When a student comes and works with a peer advisor, the advisor benefits as well. Have your questions ready to go with you meet with your advisor so you can use that time you have with them effectively.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope to be working with a well respected company in the field of Talent Acquisition and enjoying life with my family. At that time, I may be back at PSU to get my masters; who knows! All I know is that I see myself being happy and surrounded by good people.
