Meet Chennettée Jelleberg

Chennettée Jelleberg is an Access Counselor & Consultant at the Disability Resource Center. Born and raised in North Dakota, she moved to Portland in 2012 to pursue her Masters in Counselor Education. She graduated from PSU in 2015 having earned her degree in the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling program. Before starting her position at PSU, she worked at the VA and OHSU researching topics such as counseling interventions, tinnitus, and TBI. She has worked extensively with individuals with disabilities including as an intern at SHAC, as a member of the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities’ Consumer Advisory Council, and as a peer mentor for youth with disabilities. As a disabled individual herself, Chennettée appreciates the ability to use her experience and passion for disability advocacy in her current role at the DRC to assist students in pursuing their education. In her spare time, she likes to read, cook, and bake (especially cupcakes).
