Experience: Lorelei Mitchell has committed her professional life to improving the lives of society's most vulnerable children and families. She worked first in direct services, as a domestic violence advocate and sexual assault counselor, then transitioned to research and evaluation, with a focus on system-level change. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Mitchell has engaged in a wide variety of research pertaining to the child welfare and early childhood systems, and is skilled in both quantitative and qualitative methods.
