Instructor. Jessica Ferrell grew up in a restaurant family and has managed everything from private events and small restaurant operations to kitchen pop ups. She cut her teeth as a bartender in Chicago before moving to Maine to manage the beverage program at Salt Water Farm, where she sourced local beers, wines, spirits and coffee directly from makers.

If Jessica loves anything more than an efficient creative bar program, it’s creating a superior customer experience within a bar, restaurant or pub business. She received her BA in Sociology and Philosophy from Lake Forest College and her MBA from Portland State University, where she specialized in Marketing Strategy.
