PSU History

Brooke arrived at Portland State University in December of 2015 as the Director of the System of Care Institute. Currently Brooke coordinates the Oregon Statewide System of Care and Wraparound Initiative and is involved in various policy and advocacy groups focused on youth and young adults. 

Professional Focus

Brooke's professional focus and interests include system and outcome improvement for youth and families, cross system collaboration and sustainability, and quality workforce & agency development. Her work has encompassed state-level policy and program development, children's mental health, child welfare system, foster care, adoption, and school mental health. 

Personal Interests

Brooke enjoys spending time outdoors including hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding. She is a beekeeper and enjoys taking care of her sprawling vegetable garden.
