The National Association for Student Personnel Administrators awarded PSU's Turntable Advising the regional Innovative Program Award.  Turntable Advising is a radio program that focuses on topics relating to academic advising and career preparation.  Every episode features a special guest, ranging from administrators and faculty to members of the local business community and students.

There are four hosts to the one hour program: Scott "DJ Great Scott" Broussard, and Nelson "Thrillhouse" Sigrah, both academic and career advisers in the Advising and Career Services office, Jessica "DJ Jamo" Amo, Assistant Coordinator of the Women's Resource Center, and "Super Student" Nicolette "DJ Nico" Bartulski, a student employee of Advising and Career Services and orientation leader.

Turntable Advising has been on the air since September 2011, with the goal of reaching students through an innovative medium.  The show incorporates important information for students, such as registration dates, campus-wide deadlines, and campus groups, while still remaining entertaining and upbeat.

Listen to the show Mondays at 4:00 pm on KPSU.  Click here for more information on Turntable Advising.
