Portland State has won its third consecutive Regional Case Competition at the annual National Human Resource Management Association conference. The six-person team faced off against 16 competitors from the Pacific Northwest. The $2,500 prize will help fund the team's SHRM Conference in Orlando this June.

During the NHRMA conference, PSU HRMA members have the opportunity to take part in a student case competition.
Student teams from Pacific Northwest universities compete against each other to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have developed during their education.

The case competition takes place during the regular NHRMA conference. Student teams are presented with a case dealing with various HRM issues. The teams must then research the best solutions to the case, create a paper detailing how they would correct the issue and present their findings to a panel of judges.
