Harrell Fletcher, Art + Design faculty, discusses War Remnants: Vietnam Revisited at the Hammer Museum

Harrell Fletcher, Art + Design faculty for the MFA in Art + Social Practice program, will be at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, Sunday, October 1, for War Remnants: Vietnam Revisited, a conversation about his 2005 exhibition, The American War. The project, which is now part of MoMA's collection, was a photographic re-creation of the entire War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, which presents the horrors of the Vietnam War from the perspective of the Vietnamese government. Fletcher will be joined by Tram Le, associate director of the Viet Stories: Vietnamese American Oral History Project at UC Irvine, to discuss the continuing impact of the war.
