Desiree Pacheco, Business faculty, was a presenter at the Iberoamerican Academy of Management Doctoral Student and Young Faculty Consortium, a discussant in the professional development workshop “Social Movements, Stakeholders, and Non-Market Strategy and Creating Shared Value: Hogwash or Path to Sustainable Capitalism?” and was the organizer of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management Business Meeting. She also presented the papers "Hierarchy Versus Flat: The Effect of Governance Structures on Conflict in Development Cooperatives" and "Filling the Gap: The Distinct Role of Entrepreneurs in Driving Change Towards Sustainability" at the annual meeting of the Academy of Management in Chicago, Aug. 10-14.
