What brought you to PSU and how long have you been an SBA advisor?

I am currently a graduate student in the School of Education getting my master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy. I have been at PSU since 2016 and am just starting as an SBA advising intern fall term 2017.

Where did you attend college and what did you study?

My undergraduate degree is in Mass Communication from Linfield College, just down the road in McMinnville.

What's your best advice for students to make the most of their SBA student experience?

Meet with your advisor to discuss your academic plan throughout your time at PSU and get involved in student activities and groups, which are both fun and helpful while in school and during your career search!

What should students expect in an advising appointment and how should they prepare?

They will work with an adviosr to discuss acaemic and career plans and can prepare by having questions, ideas or specific items they want to discuss and work on with their advisor.

What do you like to do when you're not advising students?

I love reading and spending time outside enjoying Oregon!
