Christine Rose, English faculty, presented an invited paper in the session “The Afterlives of Assault, II” at the 45th Annual Sewanee Medieval Colloquium, University of the South, held on April 12–13. Rose was invited to respond at the conference because of the influence her work on Chaucer and rape has had on the current conversation about sexual violence in medieval literature.
