Join First Saturday PDX & PSU Institute for Asian Studies for an illustrated lecture. Traditional Chinese music can be traced back to 7000 -8000 years and developed for ritual and pleasure.  The presentation will explore a myriad of ancient instruments with their diverse construction, musical sounds and usages. 





A monthly program featuring lectures and presentations on art, architecture, gardens and historical culture of China and East Asia, highlighting connections with the Pacific NW.
