Women in Science PDX: Surviving Grad School by Cultivating Mentorship Relationships

What: Join the Women in Science Portland group for an interactive panel discussion on mentorship. PI mentors and grad student mentees from multiple scientific disciplines will share their advice on how to cultivate mentoship relationships that last beyond your degree program.

Who: Panelists will include Marilyn Machiewicz, an assistant chemistry professor; Jay Nadeau, an associate physics professor; Irving Rettig, a third-year chemistry Ph.D student; and Liz Rain-Griffith, a graduate biology student.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 24; 1 to 2 p.m.

Where: Science Research and Teaching Center, Room 219
