Submit to the School of Film Spring Showcase! Accepted entries are eligible for prizes.

Event Information:
The School of Film’s Spring Student Film Showcase is on Friday, June 7th at 7:00pm in the Lincoln Performance Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
The evening features a collection of film and video projects created by PSU Film majors as selected by a faculty jury.

Rules and Eligibility:
• PSU Film Majors are eligible to submit ONE entry for consideration (it’s okay to be credited as a collaborator on other students’ entries).
• Work can come from a course or be produced independently.
• Total running time (including title sequences and credits) must be 10 minutes in duration or less.
• The completion date for work must fall between April 2018 and May 2019.
• Submissions must be formatted to spec as follows:
o Add exactly 2 seconds of black at the head
o Add exactly 2 seconds of black at the tail
o Average loudness should be mixed at around -12dB

o Export as an h264
§ Choose 1920x1080 resolution
§ Choose a frame rate of 23.976P or 24P
§ Select VBR 2 PASS
§ Set Target Bitrate to 16 MBPS
§ Set Maximum Bit Rate to 18 MBPS

o Use the following file naming convention
