SESTA/FOSTA: Human Trafficking, Sex Work, and the Internet Crackdown

April Kusters, Assistant Director of PSU Student Legal Services will give an interactive presentation on the new federal law, FOSTA-SESTA. Supporters of the new law assert that it helps human trafficking victims. Opponents assert that it hurts sex workers and infringes on free speech. Many websites are scrambling to comply and surprising corners of the internet are affected from kink related dating sites to google itself. Come learn about its wide-ranging implications.
