Rape Myths Through Time

April 3rd, 2019 from 12:00-1:30 pm

in the Women’s Resource Center

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month! Join a roundtable discussion facilitated by Dana Walton-Macaulay, Assistant Dean of Students & Director of Student Conduct. This intergenerational dialogue will illuminate our experiences of rape myths and how they have and have not changed over the years.

The conversation aims to cover myths and ideologies from the 1950s forward, and historical and social contexts related to why some rape myths persist and why others have fallen away. This will be a dialogue assisted by Google!
