PA 410/510: Visioning Vietnam provides a unique academic and cultural learning experience in a diverse and shifting political and cultural landscape ripe with innovation and opportunity: The course provides professional and personal development opportunities for students to cultivate intercultural understanding and apply what they learn to an international leadership context through study tours, small group reflections and interactive workshops. As part of the certificate, students also have an opportunity to present original research and participate in the 6th International Government Performance, Management and Leadership Conference in Ho Chi Minh City.

Overall, the course supports the following key learning objectives:

  • Develop systems thinking and collaborative strategy in a cross-cultural environment
  • Shift your understanding of culture, public policy and innovation
  • Enhance communication skills to model culturally intelligent leadership
