American Revolutionary: A Free Community Film Screening Hosted by APANO in Solidarity of Black Lives (Free event)

Attend a screening and discussion of American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs, which tells the inspiring story of a Chinese American writer, activist, and philosopher rooted for more than 70 years in the African American movement. This film of interracial solidarity will be followed by a panel discussion featuring members of Black Lives Matter Portland, All-African People's Revolutionary Party, Washco Solidarity, Dont Shoot Portland, and Portland Asians4BlackLives. This event is part of MicCheck!, a summer cultural event series organized by the APANO Arts & Media Project (AMP) at the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon. MicCheck! utilizes the arts to illuminate pressing issues affecting Asians and Pacific Islanders and other communities of color.
