Sarah Wolf Newlands

Sarah Wolf Newlands examines what art does, and envisions what art can do. She has utilized museums as learning spaces since she began giving tours at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis in the mid-1990s. Sarah earned a BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA at Portland State University. Her artwork brings together languages of formal abstraction with commonplace everyday things.
