Dr. Ralph Beaumont, psychoanalyst with the Oregon Psychoanalytic Center (OPC), presented a short lecture on Freud’s “Mourning and Melancholia” in the context of Lars Von Trier’s apocalyptic film on human destiny and desire, Melancholia. The event was part of the ongoing psychoanalysis and film series sponsored by the OPC and PCPH.
