OER Symposium (Statewide event planned by a multi-institutional committee)
Friday, May 17, 2019 - 8:00am to Friday, May 17, 2019 - 5:00pm

The goal of the symposium is to showcase current OER work that will help attendees move their own practice forward.

Register now to attend a one-day interactive symposium about the design, practice, use, and assessment of open educational resources. Administrators, staff, faculty, graduate assistants, and students from Oregon’s 2-year, 4-year, public, and private institutions are invited.

When you leave the symposium, we hope that you will:
Understand different ways to integrate open educational resources and practices into your courses
Understand the application of inclusive strategies using OER
Use materials in your class that you remixed, found, or created today to move forward in your practice
Share ideas with your colleagues
Registration is free and includes breakfast and lunch. Registration for Oregon public community college and university participants includes travel reimbursement and overnight accommodation. Part-time faculty at Oregon public community colleges and universities are eligible for stipends for attendance and supplemental childcare.
