MS Word Accessibility Workshop a part of OGDI Disability as Diversity Month

This one-hour workshop will cover formatting using the Universal Design framework. Users can bring a computer or we will have them provided. We will create and format an accessible Template from either a provided syllabus or bring your own digital version to edit.




About the Facilitator

Samantha Johns: Accessible Media Coordinator

Samantha Johns has a passion for inclusion and diversity that drives her study and presentation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and universal access related issues in higher education. Samantha developed and works in the UDL Media Lab at PSU where students with disabilities work to identify barriers in curriculum. Previously she worked as Production Manager at the University of Santa Cruz in the Disability Resource Center where she helped faculty convert course materials into accessible formats. She has a passion for other cultures, art, and cooking!
