BioAnalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility Training

The BioAnalytical Mass Spectrometry Facility in the Department of Chemistry provides training for investigators and students on use of a ThermoElectron LTQ-Orbitrap Discovery high resolution mass spectrometer with a dedicated Accela HPLC system. The Facility also serves as a service laboratory to provide high resolution accurate mass analysis for samples submitted for formula determination.

Training will be offered on Monday, February 10

  • 9:30 - 11 am: Data acquisition using direct infusion
  • 11:30 am - 1 pm: HPLC training

Interested parties should please fill out a registration form.

The training fees will be $75/hour for educational rate and $100/hour for commercial rate

About the Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry maintains a teaching program of excellence at the undergraduate level and a graduate program emphasizing cutting-edge research in the chemistry of the environment, novel materials, and biological systems. The Department's curriculum, faculty, library, and facilities of the department are accredited by the American Chemical Society.
