Student Chapter of the ASPRS
Welcome to the Portland State GIS Club! We are the PSU Student Chapter of ASPRS.

American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing

What is the ASPRS?

Founded in 1934, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is a scientific association serving more than 7,000 professionals worldwide.  Our mission is to promote the ethical application of active and passive sensors, the disciplines of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems, and other supporting geospatial technologies; to advance the understanding of the government, academia, and private enterprise.

We are the Portland State University (PSU) student chapter of ASPRS.  Our chapter is run entirely by student officers who work closely with a faculty advisor to deliver quality events and learning opportunities to student members and the PSU community at large. We are affiliated with the Columbia River Region ASPRS.

How can I join?

Membership is open to all PSU students.  Visit our OrgSync page to learn about upcoming events or visit our membership page for more information on becoming a member of our student ASPRS chapter.
